Continuing in the success of our Introduction to Robotics Workshops, we are now offering to public schools the next level workshop introducing students to Programming using robotics and Aseba VPL (visual programming language) on Samsung tablets! Our workshops are based on Lernplan 21 requirements and are designed for 3.-6. Grade.
We proudly offer these workshops gratis for public schools. They feature Samsung's A6 tablet and the Thymio II robot, and introduce students to basic programming fundamentals through discovery and experimentation. Gratis for public schools, this is the second workshop in our Adventures in Robotics program designed for the primary school level and is sponsored by Samsung. All our workshops provide for two instructors bilingual in English and German, with each student using their own tablet and robot. Introduction to Robotics
1. - 3. Level
Very popular when launched in 2015, these workshops introduce students to basic concepts of robotics using exploration learning. Featuring the Thymio II Educational robot, students learn what is a robot and how it uses its sensors to discover its environment. Subsidized by Technology in Learning, we are proud we can offer to public schools in the Zurich area this workshop for 5.-- ChF per student. Our workshops are taught bilingual in English and German, with each student using their own robot. Class size is limited to 30 participants.
